HOLY SMOKES BBQ - BISHOP - ON DRIVE TO MAMMOTH LAKES!!!

I stopped by on my long drive to Mammoth at Holy Smokes in Bishop.
I had the smoked pork ribs. They smoke there on the premise and you could smell the bbq when you pull up. It is a nice break on a long drive.
It is right across the street from Schat's Bakery. The atmosphere was casual and they had good selections of beer.

Han Bat Sul Lung Tang - Koreatown - Los Angeles

I went and had Korean oxtail soup - mixed at Han Bat Sul Lung Tang! This slow cooked, full of collagen and delicious soup came just the way I remember having it as a child. So Yum! And great when you have a cold.
It comes with all you can eat kimchi and Gak Do Ki (Radish Kimchi). My kid and and I shared a bowl and my kid wanted more so I ended up with 2 bowls! Cash only and super fast service. Quick in and quick out with easy parking on the street.

Ayura Thai in Weschester is the BEST THAI!!!

Ayura Thai is the best Thai hands down in LA that I have ever been in . It is in a small side street and not easy to spot of the big streets of Sepulveda on your way to LAX.
It is behind Staples parking lot in a small street.
You do not have to tell them to make it "Asian people spicy" because they know their spice and it is spicy! I love it. With intricate thai flavors. I love their hot pots here and their papaya salad. It's so delicious and so healthy. Everything I tried here was delicious without fail.
I was having lunch here one day when the staff of Thai airlines-  all about 30 of them took over the whole back half of the restaurant.
I would definitely recommend Ayura Thai!

Taco's Puerco or Tacos Franc ?? - BEST STREET TACO IN TIJUANA

So I went to of compare the two best street tacos in Tijuana. There is a debate between Tacos Franc or Tacos Puerco. (Not sure if I spelled the later right) Well, Franco was closed so I went to Puerco and it was soooo good.  A little greasy as I watched the drip of orange oil fall off my "Al Pastor" but I really liked the mashed guacamole with fresh cilantro and onions. The plates came with grilled onions and hot peppers and the mini sized tacos you get in Mexico are perfect size to have multiple tacos and taste.
Carne Asada was also delicious. I wasn't too crazy about Lengua. Also, my kid ate 2 tacos so that is always a plus. Of course, he wanted the coke cola that came in bottles but I shut that down quickly. I was too busy eating and forgot to take pictures! Sorry and I will have to check out Franc next time!

"La Espadana" Restaurant Cenaduria - BEST BREAKFAST / TIJUANA - MEXICO

I was just down in Tijuana last weekend for my friend's parents 50 year wedding anniversary. I can't imagine being with any one person for 50 years since I'm not 50 years old yet.

The event took place in Tijuana, where I was told to go to "La Espadana" Restaurant Cenaduria.
They had Mexican coffee and fresh tortillas and really delicious fresh yogurt. It was a bustling, nice sit-down restaurant with character.
I had Juevos "Rancheros style" with beans and potato that I devoured then ate my kid's tamales and his yogurt. We also ordered oatmeal pancakes that was delicious!
And all these food for twenty dollars!
Service was excellent. Atmosphere fun and food was great.
I would highly recommend this restaurant.

I love seafood and I heard so much about the Jersey shore and seafood. I finally got my fill here!!!

Clams, mussels, crabs, more crabs, chicken wings, buffalo shrimp and bloody mary!

Everything was delicious and what you would expect from a seafood restaurant. I loved the atmosphere. It was a neighborhood hang out with regulars that knew each others names. They served everything directly on a cafeteria tray without a need for plates and lot’s of napkins! I loved the vibe, the food and the hang here.

“BEST CRAB-CAKES EVER!” 

Library III is a restaurant located on a golf course with a beautiful view of the greens and sunset. They had a full bar and a nice outdoor patio. I didn’t expect much since I was used to cheap diners on golf courses but I was unusually impressed with the food here.

All dinners come with a salad bar which I took full advantage of. I ordered their crab-cakes and my husband ordered a steak. 

With the first bite of the crab-cakes, I was impressed. It was the best crab-cakes I’ve ever had in my life. The waitress reassured me it wasn’t loaded with butter but just pure crabs and crackers. It tasted so rich that it was hard to believe. 

Then I had a bite of my husband’s steak and that too was delicious. Meat was cooked to a perfection and just melted. 

I would definitely go back here again. YUMMMM!
